TRANSPLANT FOUNDATION'S 21st ANNUAL TRANSPLANT EDUCATION FORUM PROVIDES OVER 150 TRANSPLANT PATIENTS AND FAMILES WITH INNOVATIONS IN TRANSPLANT CARE.

On Saturday, October 1st, transplant individuals and their families came out to the Embassy Suites in Ft. Lauderdale to partake in the 21st Annual Transplant Education Forum hosted by Transplant Foundation, Inc in collaboration with Miami Transplant Institute physicians and staff, University of Miami Miller School of Medicine physicians and health care professionals.

The goal of this event is to provide an affordable opportunity for pre and post transplant individuals and their families to learn how to take care of themselves before and after transplantation. This year, more than 150 transplant individuals and their families walked away with a better understanding of what care options are available to them today as well as what innovations are taking place in transplantation.

This year's Forum brought together leading transplant physicians, healthcare providers in South Florida and alternative medicine experts to discuss topics on medications side effects, research on transplantation, meditation as a form of recovery, innovations in the different types of transplants and what transplant patients need to know about skin cancer.

Thanks to our in kind sponsors: Whole Food, Del Monte, Rob's Really Good, Sysco, Royal Caribbean International, Cookies for Janie, and The Cryzies Band.
